A Little Bit of Craft

I was reading http://www.younghouselove.com/ and loved their idea of a mother's day gift.  I have my grandmother's recipe box and I have photoshop.  I thought to myself I can do that. So I gave it a try. Here's my first of a few I'm going to make and hang in my kitchen. It needs a little sprucing up.

IHEARTFACES - June Challenge - All Boy

Haven't done an I Heart Faces challenge for a while.  Their theme this month is All Boy.  A & J waiting at third base, why they're both at third base I can only guess, moral support I guess.  A with his hands in his pockets and J with his hands behind his back.  Looks like they're waiting on a bus more so than a ball to go flying so they can run into home.

She Did It!!!

Today my youngest, my husband's only daughter will graduate from high school.  She is off to Bowling Green State University in August.  Like so many millions, I wonder how it went so fast and there were days I wondered when it would get here!!

Congratulations Hannah!! It may not seem like a big deal getting your high school diploma but it is, it is a big accomplishment. 

Wednesday, May 2 - NYC

Despite the rain, we spent the day walking through Central Park.  By far my favorite part of NYC.  You could spend three full days seeing all of it, we only had one so that means I have to go back and see the rest.
